Why go to school on-line?
Scheduling works great. Time is a precious commodity in my job. I commute approximately 4 hours each day into Washington DC, so out of the house by 5:15 AM and home by 7:00 P.M. A traditional classroom environment would not work for me. The on-line learning program suits me well by allowing scheduling flexibility for me to best manage my time between family, work, and school.
Online courses start every month, so in the event there is a heavy demand on my schedule due to family or work I can adjust my school schedule. Likewise, if it looks like the next couple of months might be light I can double up on some classes. That hasn’t happened yet.
So far, the flexibility is fantastic. The courses are laid out from beginning to end and I can proceed at my own pace. As time allows I can move quickly through a module or more slowly if I need.
